Step-by-Step Process to Generate Your Unique ID
1.Visit the Official Registration Portal:
Open your web browser and navigate directly to the official DHE online admission portal powered by

2.Initiate Registration:
On the homepage, look for and click on the "Go for Registration" button to open the blank Student Registration Form.
3.Fill in Personal Information:
Carefully type in your legal personal details as they appear on your school documents.
This includes your First Name, Last Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Gender, Date of Birth,
Mobile Number, and Domicile State (Assam).
4.Provide Academic & Course Details:
Select your current academic intent. You will need to input details regarding your last qualifying examination,
registration number, and specify the course level you are seeking admission for
(e.g., HS 1st Year, UG 1st Semester, PG, etc.).
5.Enter Bank Account Details:
Input your active Bank Account Number and the correct IFSC Code.
Note: Accurate bank details are highly crucial as the government uses this data to
disburse student schemes, textbook grants, or fee waivers directly to your account.
6.Submit and Receive Your ID:
Review all the entered information for spelling errors. Once verified, check the declaration box and click
"Submit".
After Submission
As soon as your form is successfully processed, the portal will generate an electronic Acknowledgement Slip showing your official Unique ID (which typically starts with a "U" followed by a string of numbers).
A confirmation text message containing your DHE Unique ID will also be sent to your registered
mobile number. Make sure to download the PDF acknowledgement slip and print a copy,
as you will need to present it to your college during the physical verification process.
