Eligibility Criteria for Junior Administrative Assistant

GHC JAA Selection Process (3 Stages)
The selection for the 367 JAA posts will be conducted through three distinct stages:
Stage I: Common Written Test (OMR-Based)
- Total Marks: 120
- Duration: 2 hours
- Negative Marking: Yes, 0.25 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Subject Breakdown (100 Marks):
- General English: 50 Marks
- General Knowledge (including Computer Knowledge): 30 Marks
- General Aptitude: 20 Marks
Assamese Language Segment (20 Marks): This segment is Qualifying in Nature. Candidates must score a minimum of 40% (8 marks) to pass. Marks obtained here will NOT be counted in the final merit list.
Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio for the next stage.
Stage II: Computer Skill Test (35 Marks)
- Computer Typing Test: 20 Marks (Assessing speed and accuracy on typing application software).
- Proficiency: 15 Marks (Testing skills in Word Processor and Spreadsheet).
- Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio for the final stage.
Stage III: Viva-voce (15 Marks)
- Interview: 15 Marks.
- The final selection list will be prepared based on the grand total marks secured in the Written Test (100) + Computer Skill Test (35) + Viva-voce (15) = Total 150 Marks, prepared district-wise.
