SCERT Assam D.El.Ed Admission 2026 is now open for eligible candidates who are permanent residents of Assam. The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam has invited online applications for the Pre-Entry Test (PET) 2026 to secure admission into the 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Course for the academic session 2026–2028.

Eligibility Criteria for D.El.Ed Admission 2026

• Must have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) from a recognized board with at least 50% aggregate (excluding optional/extra subject)
• SC/ST(P)/ST(H) candidates get 5% relaxation in marks
• Age: 18–34 years as on 1 July 2026; 2-year relaxation for SC/ST(P)/ST(H)

This NCTE-recognized D.El.Ed course is conducted through DIETs, CTEs, Normal Schools, BITE, BTC, and other private Teacher Education Institutes across Assam. Successful candidates will be allotted seats in the district they select during application.
