Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) or equivalent examination from a recognized board

Minimum Marks: While passing is mandatory, specific colleges may set their own cut-off percentages for different streams.

Documents Required for Online Application

- Passport-sized Photograph: Recent and clear.

- HSLC Marksheet: Scanned copy of the original or internet copy.

- Caste Certificate: If applicable (OBC/MOBC, SC, ST).

- Income Certificate: Required to avail of the "Free Admission" or Fee Waiver Scheme (for families with annual income below ₹2 Lakhs).

- Disability Certificate: For PwD category applicants

- TGL/Ex-TGL Certificate: For students belonging to the Tea Garden community.

1. Registration: Visit the DARPAN Portal and click on "Register a New Account." Enter your HSLC Roll Number, year of passing, and a valid mobile number

2. Profile Setup: Log in with your 4-digit PIN and complete your profile by entering personal and educational details

3. Uploading Documents: Upload your photo, marksheet, and category certificates.

4. Selecting Institutions: You can apply to a maximum of five (5) different institutions. Browse the list of colleges/schools and choose your preferred stream for each

5. Submission: Review your choices and submit. You can download or print the application acknowledgment for future use.
