Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

Candidates must have at least 50% aggregate marks in either their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sciences, Social Sciences, or Humanities.
Alternatively, candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology specializing in Science and Mathematics must have secured at least 55% marks.

Note: Candidates who have 50% or more in Honours/Major subjects but less than 50% in aggregate are not eligible.

Relaxation in Marks:

A 5% relaxation in qualifying marks is applicable for:

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD categories.
Candidates with a minimum of five years of teaching experience in schools recognized up to the 10th standard by the Board of Secondary Education, Assam.

Entrance Test Requirement:

All candidates must clear the B.Ed. CET conducted by Dibrugarh University for the respective academic session.
