Job and Eligibility KVS & NVS Recruitment 2025
Principal
Vacancies: 227 (KVS: 134; NVS: 93)
Qualification: Master’s degree (≥ 50%), B.Ed (or integrated B.Ed–M.Ed) from NCTE-recognized institutions.
Age Limit: 35–50 years
Additional: Must have relevant experience in a leadership role; knowledge of computers, Hindi & English.
Vice Principal
Vacancies: 58 (KVS)
Qualification: Master’s + B.Ed / integrated B.Ed–M.Ed.
Age Limit: 35–45 years
Experience: Working as Vice Principal / PGT for required years.
Other: Computer literacy and command over Hindi & English.
Assistant Commissioner
Vacancies: 17 (KVS: 8, NVS: 9)
Qualification: Master’s degree, B.Ed, and leadership experience (e.g., working as a Principal) for a minimum of 3 years.
Age Limit: Up to 45 (NVS) / 50 (KVS) years
Skills: Computer knowledge; fluent in Hindi & English.
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
Vacancies: 2,996 (KVS + NVS)
Qualification: Either an integrated postgraduate course (with B.Ed), or a master’s degree + B.Ed (or integrated B.Ed–M.Ed).
Language: Proficiency in both Hindi and English required.
Age Limit: Up to 40 years
Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
Vacancies: 6,215 (KVS + NVS)
Qualification:
Four-year integrated degree (with B.Ed component) or
Bachelor’s / Honors degree + B.Ed (or Integrated B.Ed–M.Ed) from NCTE-recognized Institutions.
CTET Requirement: Must have cleared CTET Paper-II (for certain subjects)
Age Limit: Not more than 35 years
Language Skills: Competent to teach in English and Hindi medium.
Librarian
Vacancies: 147 (KVS)
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science / Library & Information Science (≥ 50% marks)
Age Limit: Up to 30 years
Skills: Must know computer applications; working knowledge of Hindi & English.
Primary Teacher (PRT)
Vacancies: 3,365 (KVS)
